Region 6 Superintendent of Schools Edward Drapp was one of 36 superintendents from across the country honored during the AASA school superintendents’ national conference on education in New Orleans, La., March 2-4.
Drapp earned national superintendent certification recognizing him for completing an 18-month program in which superintendents participate in forums and seminars on instructional leadership, building and managing budgets, communication and political skills, technology and relations with school boards.
The AASA’s national superintendent certification program is one of the best professional development opportunities I’ve had as an educator,” Drapp said in a statement. “The experience will enable me to better serve the needs of all students.”
