Twenty six-person teams have registered to compete in the third annual Retro Dodge Ball Tournament at Litchfield High School on March 23.

There is still room for four teams.

The tournament is a fundraiser for the Litchfield Education Foundation and is being organized by its founders, Jay Bolton and Matt Terzian, along with LEF member Michele Saunders, Dave Reynolds and Andy Parker.

The cost per team is $210. To register, go to lefforstudents.org. Following the tournament, a reception for the participants will be held at the Litchfield Saltwater Grille.

With Bolton and Terzian providing the inspiration, the first two tournaments have been hugely successful, raising more than $15,000 for the LEF, which works to fund innovative educational programs in the town’s schools.

Bolton and Terzian will hold court at the Saltwater Grille bar during the reception.

Fitness guru Alan Landau, below, added star power to the first two tournaments.
