Goshen Boy Scouts celebrate success at AJ's
Litchfield.bz (12-24-17)

Goshen's Boy Scout Troop 35 gathered at AJ's Steak and Pizza on Wednesday for a pizza party celebrating a successful 2017 for the troop.

The highight of the evening came when AJ's chef Mark Woodman and maitre de Josh Wasdo presented senior patrol leader Jackson Ives, assistant senior patrol leader Joe Sefcik Jr. and assistant scoutmaster Joe Sefcik Sr. a check for $1,800. The money was raised during the annual AJ's golf tournament last summer.

Troop 35 will use the donation to offset the cost of its trip to the Adirondacks next summer. The troop and AJ's have had a strong relationship over the years, with AJ's always donating food for the troop's annual pasta supper in November.
