New priest at Trinity Episcopal Church is ordained

Trinity Episcopal Church in Milton and St. Paul's Church in Bantam have a newly-priest in the Rev. Brett Figlewski.

Figlewski, co-pastor of the two churches with the Rev. Daniel Mattila, was ordained as a priest during a service on Thursday at Trinity Episcopal. Before a full house of parishioners from Trinity Episcopal, St. Paul's, family and friends of Figlewski, and a delrgation of Episcopal ministers, Figlewski was ordained by the Right Rev. Ian Douglas of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut.

Figlewski, who works as an attorney in New York City during the week, spent 19 years in training to be a priest.
