Parents of James Morris School sixth-graders and Region 6 teachers laced up their sneakers Friday for the annual parents vs. teachers basketball game at Wamogo Regional High School.
The parents' squad, led by Rob Whipple and Jim Wheeler, edged the teachers in an entertaining thriller that served as a fundraiser for the sixth-grade. Proceeds from the game will help offset the class trip to Boston in the spring. The game and its festivities were organized by parents Laura Crane and Lisa Weik. Kimberly Geremia served as the master of ceremonies.
