Voters in Morris will head back to the polls next Wednesday for a third referendum on a proposed town budget for 2017-18.
The latest proposal of $9,453,852 is $374,340, or 4.1 percent, higher than the current budget of $9,079,512. The tax rate woud be 29.29 mills, an increase of 1.46 mills over the current rate of 27.83 mills.
Polls at Town Hall will be open from noon to 8 p.m. for the vote.
The 2017-18 fiscal year began on July 1. The town has been operating on a temporary tax rate since then.
