Fifth and sixth-graders at Warren School worked hard on Saturday evening in hosting a pasta supper at the Warren Congregational Church hall.

Students put in the time because proceeds from the annual supper will help fund their trip to New York City in June. About 200 patrons turned out for the supper, generating a financial windfall for the 22 students who worked under the direction of teacher Mary Ellen Birdsall.

Parents Dan and Meg Lago headed up the organization of the supper, which included a prize drawing featuring items donated by local individuals and businesses.

Nick Krasowski kept busy clearing tables.
