Big league advice from former Cub Moe Morhardt
Connecticut baseball coaching legend Moe Morhardt of Winsted, who played first base for the Chicago Cubs during two seasons in the early 1960s, conducted a hitting clinic at Wamogo on Saturday.
Morhardt, who coached the Gilbert School baseball team and at the University of Hartford, talked about the fundamentals of hitting. His audience included Wamogo baseball players, players from high schools in the area, and coaches. The clinic was sponsored by Wamogo's baseball team. BZ photos
