Former winner captures another SBT championship
Litchfield.bz (07-29-19)


Kyle Halloran, formerly of Litchfield and now of Lakeville, returns to Sandy Beach on his bike after completing the second leg of the Sandy Beach Triathlon on Friday. Halloran, a previous winner of the race, was first in 57:36. The triathlon featured a half-mile swim, 10-mile bike ride and 3.1-mile run. The first female finisher was Jessica Hurd of Torrington, who was fourth overall in 1 hour, 7 minutes. The triathlon was directed by Corinne Houle of the Sandy Beach Commission and raised money for the beach. Commission members and several volunteers assisted. John McKenna photos
