Goshen's Sami Glass made it two straight wins at the Hillacious Half-Marathon with a dominating performance on Saturday.
Glass, a senior at Yale University, finished the difficult 13.1-mile course in 1 hour, 25 minutes and 23 seconds. She finished nine minutes ahead of the runner up in defending her win in last year's inaugural race.
The race, founded and directed by Litchfield Hills Road Race organizing committee director Beth Murphy, was a fundraiser for needy veterans in the area. Murphy was assisted by several volunteers.
Mike Main was the first Litchfield finisher and was fourth overall in 1:35.26. Sherri Odell of Litchfield was the runner up female and was fifth overall two seconds behind Main.
New this year was a relay division. That was captured by John McKenna of Bantam and Litchfield High School cross-country standout Thomas Wilson in 1:33.17
