After being confined to the gym for preseason practice due to the poor weather, Litchfield High's baseball team got outside on Thursday in facing Torrington in the season-opener at Fuessenich Park.
Torrington opened up a one-run game in the fifth inning and went on to post a 15-6 win. Coleby Bunnell had two singles and one RBI and Aidan Donohue drove in two runs for the Cowboys.
Litchfield's hustling Coleby Bunnell is out by a step at first base. Below, Zach Perbeck delivers a pitch for the Cowboys.
