Two more wins bolster Wamogo boys tennis resume

Wamogo’s boys’ tennis team continued its roll through the regular season with wins over Thomaston and Housatonic this week.
 
Coach Patrick Holyst’s team improved to 13-2 with a 5-0 win over Thomaston on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the Warriors smoked Housatonic, 5-0.
 
Strong play in singles from Reid Turtoro and Nolan Turtoro has been propelling the Warriors. Devin Rhoads and Pierce Cordeau added singles wins in this week’s matches.
 
In doubles, the teams of Dominic Iannone and David Squires and Garrett Oliver and Aidan Weik have been solid.

1st: Reid Turtoro (W) over Chet Pierce (T) 6-2, 2-6, 11-9
2nd: Nolan Turtoro (W) over Alex Thornberg (T) 6-0, 6-0
3rd: Devin Rhoads (W) over Zach Boncek (T) 6-1, 6-0

1st: Dominic Iannone and David Squires (W) over Ryan Jose and Bill Morrison (T)

2nd: Garrett Oliver and Aidan Weik (W) over Tyler Synott and Endrit Sadriu (T)
