Wamogo competes in Going to the Sun Invitational

Wamogo’s cross-country teams participated in the 32nd annual Going to the Sun Invitational at Coginchaug High School in Durham on Thursday. A total of 343 runners from 39 high schools in Connecticut competed.

For Wamogo’s boys, Braden Steward finished 34th in 21:45 and Pink Wright 88th in 22:26. Top finisher for the girls’ team was Morgan Fischer, who was 55th in 26:32.

In the girls’ varsity race, invited runner Abigail Johnston of Northfield placed fifth overall in 20:45.
