Wamogo on its way to BL tourney semifinals

Wamogo moved into the semifinals of the Berkshire League tournament with a 55-39 win over Shepaug on Friday.
The Warriors (18-3) will face Northwestern on Tuesday at 5:30 in Thomaston. Shepaug, a decided underdog, stuck with Wamogo through the first half and into the third quarter before the Warriors began to pull away.
Wamogo increased its 22-18 halftime lead to 38-28 after three quarters and used accurate free-throw shooting to build a big lead. The Warriors made their first 11 free-throw attempts in the second half.
Garrett Sattazahn continued his strong play with 20 points and Ethan Collins had 13 to pace Wamogo.
