Another game another easy victory for Wamogo's boys, but this one was extra satisfying because it came over Lewis Mills in the final regular-season appearance at Wamogo for the Spartans.
Mills hung with the Warriors (14-0) for most of the first quarter before wilting under constant pressure in what would result in a 75-46 loss. Wamogo led 32-21 at halftime and blew the game open by outscoring Mills 24-14 in the third quarter.
Coach Gregg Hunt's club scored in every way possible, whether it was on fast breaks, off steals or in the halfcourt. Mills, which will move to the Central Connecticut Conference next year, was no match for Wamogo's disciplined, multi-faceted offensive attack, nor for its suffocating press.
Garrett Sattazahn had another big game with 27 points to pace the Warriors. Reid Turtoro added 18 and Ethan Collins 12.
