Wamogo’s boys and girls track and field teams are both looking to improve on 2-7 records last year under coach Rob Andrulis.
Expected to be top performers for the girls are seniors Emily Kupcho in throwing events and Kyra Beyer in sprints and throws; junior Meg Salmon and Sage Reeves in distance events; and sophomores Olivia Norris and Nikita Berger in sprints.
New to the team are Rita Dezik and Morgan Fischer in sprints.
For the boys, seniors Aidan Keilty in distance, Paul Marceski in sprints and hurdles, Jason Marika in middle distance, Kryistian Wnorowski in middle distance and jumps, and Nick Damiani in throws are key performers. Junior Alex Johnson in sprints and sophomore Bran Fisher in distance add depth.
First-year athletes are Tyler Giggy and Zach Kelly in distance and Cole Higgins and Caleb and Elijah Gabriel-Devaux in sprints.
