With a new coach, LHS girls tune up against Taft

Litchfield High's girls soccer team has new leadership this season as Marissa Quesnel, last year's assistant coach, has been promoted to head coach.

Quesnel, a 2012 Litchfield High graduate, succeeds Brian Mongeau. As a senior, Quesnel helped lead the Cowgirls to the Class S championship game. She played soccer at Central Connecticut State University. Serving as assistant coach is Jordan Quesnel, Marissa's older sister who also played at Litchfield.

Litchfield scrimmaged against Taft School at Plumb Hill Playing Fields on Friday as it gears up for the start of the season next week.
