The Wamogo boys and girls basketball teams are set to begin postseason play, as is Litchfield High's girls team.
Wamogo's boys finished the regular season 17-3 and will host Shepaug in the first round of the Berkshire League tournament Friday at 7 p.m. The Warriors ended the regular season with a 75-59 win over Nonnewaug on Tuesday. Garrett Sattazahn paced the Warriors with 25 points, Reid Turtoro had 20 and Max Loomis 17.
Wamogo's girls will take an 8-13 record into the Class S tournament and a first-round date at Thomaston on Monday at 7 p.m. Litchfield's girls (6-14) didn't win the eight games needed to qualify for the tournament but were added so the Class S field would have 32 teams and first-round byes would be avoided. The Cowgirls are seeded 32nd and will play at top-seeded East Hampton on Monday.
Litchfield's boys closed out their season with a 52-32 loss at Gilbert on Tuesday. Jared Guilmart had 14 points for the Cowboys, who finished 2-18 and ended the season with 17 straight losses.
